Thank you for recognizing the value of handmade items and supporting small business!  Each of our items at Pleiades Designs are well thought-out, all the way from the fabric choice down to the tiny details of thread color, topstitching and button placement.  We are extremely proud of our handiwork; the items you purchase have been carefully constructed and looked over for any flaws that affect look or function. If you find that an item requires repair when you receive it, we're happy to repair it for you free of charge. Keep in mind that handmade work is unique and no two pieces are exactly alike.  

We often use repurposed and vintage fabrics in our unique pieces.  The nature of vintage fabric is that it often contains small inconsistencies and minor flaws that are part of its unique charm and character. We hope you enjoy its quirks as much as we do. We use both domestic and imported materials.



With all items being uniquely handmade and/or made-to-order, we only allow returns 7 days after you receive your item if it is in original packaging and condition for a refund. Once a return is initiated, items must be received within 7 days to qualify for credit back to original form of payment.  Items received after that window will receive a credit via store credit. Items received that smell of cigarette smoke, laundry detergent or that contain pet hair will not be eligible for return. Any packages sent back through "refusing delivery" or "return to sender" will be sent at customer's risk and be processed with an additional charge.  Refunds and cancellations will be credited minus shipping and packaging fees and a 5% restocking fee.

No custom items may be returned. All sale items are final and cannot be cancelled or returned. Any order may be cancelled within 5 minutes of placing your order. After this period, orders have been processed and can not be modified or changed. Due to time sensitive nature of these requests we recommend that you directly contact us at hello@pleiades-designs.com within this window.

International orders may be returned for store credit only due to extended shipping and processing times.

Each item is carefully inspected upon completion, but we always value your feedback so we can improve or keep doing something well. If you have a comment or question, please reach out so that we can assist you right away.

Damaged or incorrectly shipped items can only be repaired or replaced to the original purchaser. We do offer repair services for dresses that have been well loved, but repairs are only for original purchasers and we charge a fee based on the kind of repair required.



Most product listings have specific care instructions on our website.  If you cannot find instructions, we recommend that all washable items be hand washed cold or on a delicate cycle if possible and line dried, especially for more delicate fabrics.

Sizing on items runs standard unless mentioned in description.



Products are made with love and shipped from Colorado. Shipping is a flat fee for standard first class mail with tracking and no insurance.* Priority and expedited shipping is available.  Once packages leave our shop we are not responsible for lost, stolen or packages delivered to the incorrect address. Customers are responsible for ensuring that all shipping information input at the time of order is correct and accurate.

 *All Gold Label dresses must be shipped priority (at a minimum) with insurance.



All items will be shipped with tracking, with the exception of some international sales.  Product tracking and shipping information can be found through your order information emailed to you after the time of purchase. Once an item has been shipped it is no longer the responsibility of Pleiades Designs that it is delivered safely, but rather the shipping provider. If your package does get lost, let us know and we will do everything we can to help.



All international orders are final sale and non-refundable. We encourage you to contact our team at hello@pleiades-designs.com to find the size and style that's just right for you! Recipient will be responsible for taxes or custom duties incurred and assumes all risks of international shipping process.

International orders are shipped via USPS and once an item leaves the United States it can often take weeks for final delivery.  Pleiades is not responsible for international shipments that are lost or damaged. Please consider this before placing your international delivery.

I am unsure of what size to order.

On every listing there is a size chart specific to each dress that should give you basic guidelines of what the right size is for you! Please email us if you have any further questions.


Do you offer custom dresses?

We do not offer custom dresses at this time, but we will always have new and beautiful styles coming your way!


I am in love with several of your pieces but they are all sold out. How do I go about purchasing the dress I want?

We have limited quantity releases every couple weeks that are available until items sell out. You can get updates and details of future releases on our website or by subscribing to our newsletter.


I just made an order and did not receive a confirmation email with my tracking number.

A confirmation email will be sent to the email you provided at checkout. Please be sure to check all of your email folders, otherwise there might have been an error when entering your email address at checkout. Please email us directly at hello@pleiades-designs.com and we can look up your order number and send you tracking information.


USPS says my package has been delivered, but it’s not in my mailbox. What should I do?

We recommend checking with your neighbors as well as calling your local postal office with the tracking number on hand. If you've done those things, please email us at hello@pleaides-designs.com as soon as possible and we will do our very best to help! 


My order was incorrect and/or damaged upon arrival. What should I do?

Email us at hello@pleiades-designs.com right away and we will absolutely make it right! Please see our policy for the details on returns/exchanges as well as timeframes for both.

Do you offer price matching if my item goes on sale?

Pleiades dresses are by nature very limited and as such do not go on sale often.  In the rare event that the exact item you purchased ( size, color etc) goes on sale within a 48 hour timeframe of your purchase, we will gladly match to the lowest sale price currently reflected on the website.  Please also note that all sale items are final sale, which will make your item no longer eligible for exchange or return.
