Our Top 10 Favorite Moments

Our Top 10 Favorite Moments
Pleiades turned 3 this week, and if you didn't know we are celebrating all week long! As we often do with life's big milestones, we have been reflecting on all the wonderful moments that have brought us to where we are today and are filled with so much gratitude. Some of these moments are just too special to keep to ourselves.
So, we want to share with you our top 10 favorite moments from the last 3 years of Pleiades!
Number 10: The Mint Windsong

Creating our Windsong and taking it out to photograph in flower fields was the moment we realized we had created something truly special, and we had to share it with the world. {June 2016}

Number 9: Winning a Cribsie Award

Each year the Cribsie Awards recognizes the best products for babies and tots voted for by public opinion. This was so exciting to win an award for "Hottest Handmade" so early in the life our our business and gave us drive to keep dreaming and designing. {December 2017}

Number 7: Partnering with Reintegra

Being a light in dark places is at the heart of Pleiades. When we moved to Colorado we knew we wanted to partner with a local organization and get behind a cause we truly care about. Reintegra works hard to help survivors of human trafficking in Mexico City thrive and take steps to reclaim their lives. {Feb 2018}
Number 6: Pleiades in Print

We have been featured in Babiekins, Mini Maven, Poster Child Mag, and more recently Poosh. It is always both jaw-dropping and humbling to see publishers feature our designs.

When one of our designs made it to the “Blue Carpet” for the Moana premiere in Los Angeles a few short months after launching Pleiades, we were stunned!  Zooey Miyoshi from @zooeyinthecity posed for photos next to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson wearing Pleiades. {Nov 2016}
Number 4: Repost from Instagram

We couldn’t believe our rainbow dress was featured on the Instagram page for millions of people to see. It felt like a dream! {July 2018}

Number 3: First Pop-up Shop

Our first pop up shop was in Long Beach, CA at Sweet Threads. Meeting and connecting with so many of our loyal customers made this a truly special moment. {July 2018}

Number 2: The Rainbow Dress
Rainbow dresses were some of the very first designs we ever created. This began, and has continued to be, a defining hallmark of our brand. We started designing rainbow dresses with vintage sheets and then figured out a way to adapt it to make it our own unique design in an ethical and sustainable way. {June 2016}
Number 1: Saint Ida's
We recently moved into our new headquarters, which was built 110+ years ago as the very first Catholic Church in Lafayette, CO. It's name was Saint Ida's Catholic Church. After months of renovations and remodeling, we finally transitioned out of the basement studio and into this sweet new home. {December 2018}

There have been some pretty incredible moments during our journey so far, and we are so thankful to have shared it with all of you. We are beyond grateful for the love, kindness and support you all have poured out to us over the years, and we can't wait to see what's to come. Thank you so much for celebrating with us this week!
Don’t forget about our special Birthday Release Friday, May 24th at 12 PM EST.
